Today Mark had round 2 of this weeks chemo. This time the chemo seems to be causing a bit of nausea, along with some other new side effects. Mark smiled and said that it is still better then the alternative. Leave it to Mark to put everything in perspective. He was cracking jokes and smiling which is always good. He pretended to throw up on Brian as he was sitting at the kitchen table, Brian ran like a little girl. Carol, Mark, and I could not stop laughing.
Mark will be getting an MRI and comparative CT Scan during his next visit to the doctor. We will update everyone as soon as the results come in. Please keep your prayers coming!!
Mark we love you and the York family is praying for you every night. We know you will get through this. We are here for you and your family!
ReplyDeleteWhat you really need on your profile picture is the picture of you during the Presbyterian Families Flood camping trip in 2001. All I could hear was "Evacuate", "Evacuate", and there you are running around with no shirt on trying to save your brand new camper. What a memory!
Love all the pictures...great pic of Mark and Carol. Keeping you in my thoughts...Linda
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can beat this it is Mark. I know from working with him at Boeing that beneath that teddy bear exterior there is a will of steel. Keeping you in my prayers Mark and have asked that you be added to my church prayer chain too. You have the love of many, many people pulling for you.
ReplyDeleteMark and family, you remain in my prayers (and the prayers of many others). Our faith and your strength will see you through this. Can't wait to hear your laugh and see your smile again.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. Tell him hi for Charlene and I. Give Brian a hug too.
